Fired Up! Creative Lounge opened in 1994 at 26 Wall Street in historic downtown Asheville! It has been a staple for locals and visitors alike to take a break and express their creativity. While it opened mainly as a Paint-Your-Own-Pottery studio, Fired Up now offers multiple art mediums such as Glass Fusing and Wheel Lessons. It was voted WNC’s “Best Place To Make Art” for over 15 years in a row!

 

Fired Up has been owned and operated since 2008 by mother/daughter duo Linda and Cassidy Chester. The Chesters moved to Asheville from Atlanta, Georgia in 2008. Before moving, Linda discovered PYOP and Glass Fusing and decided to explore opening her own studio when she learned Fired Up was for sale, and the rest is history! 

 

A few years after taking over Fired Up, Linda expanded to Hendersonville, NC with the purchase and renaming of downtown PYOP studio, Express Yourself. Fired Up’s Hendersonville studio is now located in the Blue Ridge Mall and offers pottery, glass, and canvas!
